Senior Windows Kiosk Imaging Engineer

About the role

Intetics Inc. is looking for a Senior Windows Kiosk Imaging Engineer to lead the design, creation, and maintenance of Windows kiosk images for a fleet of IoT devices. You will ensure reliable boot, secure lockdown, and reproducible deployments across multiple hardware revisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Windows kiosk imaging tasks, including master image creation, sysprep with answer files, disk resizing, and capture/restore using Clonezilla.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell provisioning scripts, registry policies, ACLs, services, and RunOnce entries.
• Configure kiosk lockdown via Shell Launcher, including keyboard filtering and user capability restrictions.
• Integrate and validate drivers for two hardware board revisions.
• Manage boot chain issues (UEFI, Secure Boot, custom boot logo) and ensure firmware compatibility.
• Implement security improvements such as removing plain‑text admin passwords and mitigating API key/TOTP exposure.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and support on‑call discussions.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to align deliverables with project goals.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows, especially Windows kiosk mode (Shell Launcher) and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise.
• Proven experience configuring and delivering Windows kiosk environments and master images at scale.
• Experience with driver integration for multiple hardware revisions and real kiosk hardware.
• Familiarity with security hardening of kiosk devices and image‑based deployments.
• Ability to produce detailed documentation and work instructions.
