Senior Tunnel Systems Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Tunnel Systems Specialist to lead the electrical, mechanical, communication and safety systems for a major tunnel infrastructure project. The role involves supervising construction, ensuring system integration and supporting testing, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation and integration of tunnel electrical, mechanical, communication and safety systems.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader and Senior Resident Engineer on all tunnel‑systems matters.
• Monitor contractor performance, installation works and system implementation.
• Review technical submissions, designs and method statements for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover of tunnel systems.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Approximately 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years on tunnel or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and systems integration.
• Excellent coordination, reporting and communication abilities.
