Senior Software Engineer (Python, AI)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep Python expertise and a strong background in generative AI to join a leading professional services network. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance AI‑enabled applications while collaborating closely with the client and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, design systems, develop Python and AI solutions, troubleshoot and optimise performance.
• Build scalable Python services using FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Implement asynchronous and parallel processing with asyncio.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Integrate multi‑modal GenAI models (text‑to‑image, text‑to‑audio, etc.).
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team, providing clear guidance to teammates.
• Maintain regular communication with the client.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching the team.

Required profile

• Extensive professional development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Hands‑on experience with asyncio and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models and agentic AI applications.
• Understanding of RAG pipelines and vector‑based hybrid search.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented problem‑solver with excellent organisational skills.
• Effective troubleshooting and communication abilities.
