Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native + Native iOS & Android)

About the role

Wellnite is building an emotionally intelligent life assistant that helps users communicate, stay organized, and improve wellbeing. We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer who can work across React Native and native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) to create high‑performance, user‑centric mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for our React Native app and native iOS/Android modules.
• Bridge native functionality into React Native and optimise startup time and runtime performance.
• Define scalable mobile architecture and own end‑to‑end production releases.
• Collaborate with product, design, AI, and backend teams to deliver AI‑powered conversations, messaging, video calling, health & wellness flows, and offline‑first experiences.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and help set engineering standards.

Required profile

• 7+ years of mobile development experience with a strong focus on React Native.
• Deep expertise in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Proven track record publishing apps to both the App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with REST APIs, third‑party SDK integration, and mobile security best practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving startup and shipping products quickly.
