Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python & Angular)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong Python and Angular expertise to help build a high‑load, enterprise‑grade platform for the Oil & Gas sector. The position is primarily backend‑focused (about 70% Python) while also requiring occasional frontend work and involvement in system architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based microservices with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Contribute to Angular frontend features when needed.
• Define and implement robust APIs and integrate distributed systems.
• Participate in critical architecture and technical decision‑making processes.
• Work within Docker containers and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and support the platform in Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional Agile team to deliver project goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Python backend development experience.
• Proficiency with Angular or a comparable frontend framework.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, OOP and SOLID principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Git and Azure DevOps.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
