Senior Data Software Engineer – Databricks

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer with strong Databricks experience to help shape an early‑stage data platform. You will work remotely from anywhere in Georgia while collaborating with architects and cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑performance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Share and champion best data‑engineering practices across the team.
• Partner with architects to select optimal technical solutions.
• Lead the creation of reusable software components for rapid pipeline delivery.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and operations teams to implement and maintain the platform.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality throughout the platform.
• Provide technical assistance and support to stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of data‑engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Apache Airflow and data transformation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
