About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with AI expertise to join a dynamic team working on a high‑impact project for an insurance client. You will bridge the gap between data‑science experimentation and production‑grade systems, turning AI models into reliable, scalable solutions that fit business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI workflows that combine models, prompts, enterprise data, tools, and business logic.
• Develop and maintain prompt‑engineering strategies, including versioning, testing, and optimization.
• Build orchestration layers for multi‑step reasoning, decisioning, and action execution.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise APIs, systems, and user interfaces.
• Apply guardrails to ensure safe, explainable, and compliant AI behavior.
• Maintain production‑grade AI deployment pipelines with focus on reliability, scalability, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and drift detection for AI services.
• Establish change‑control, versioning, rollback, and release‑management practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, actuaries, and business stakeholders to validate model outputs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or AI engineering.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps practices and tools.
• Proficiency in machine‑learning concepts and model lifecycle management.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI solutions and prompt engineering.
• Solid SQL and data‑manipulation expertise.
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise systems and APIs.
• Good communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
