SAP Logistics (SCM) Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Logistics (SCM) Engineering Manager to lead our global SAP Logistics operations. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership to drive strategic initiatives, deliver projects, and nurture client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of SAP professionals, overseeing all SAP Logistics activities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top‑performing SAP Logistics talent across multiple locations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including performance reviews, career development, and compensation.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance SAP Logistics capabilities and support organizational growth.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design proposals and create project statements of work.
• Maintain direct communication with customers to ensure high‑quality delivery, team performance, and adherence to schedules.
• Stay current with SAP Logistics best practices and ensure their implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Engineering roles.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or management position and 1 year managing teams of five or more.
• Participation in at least two full‑cycle SAP implementations or product launches.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics (SCM) implementation and functionality.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Preferred: certifications in SAP Logistics or SCM modules.
