Safety‑Focused CDL Class B Driver

About the role

Orica is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to support its mining, quarrying and oil & gas operations. The driver will be responsible for transporting explosives and related materials to customer and field sites while adhering to all regulatory and company safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Transport explosives, blasting agents and related materials to designated sites.
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA and Orica safety standards.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery, load and inspection documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading using approved hazardous‑material procedures.
• Coordinate closely with site and blasting teams to support operational schedules.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class B driver’s license.
• Strong safety orientation and knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Experience handling hazardous materials, preferably explosives.
• Ability to follow detailed loading, unloading and documentation procedures.
