Safety-Focused CDL Class B Driver for Mining Operations

About the role

Orica is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to support its mining, quarrying and oil & gas operations. You will be responsible for safely transporting explosives, related materials and equipment to customer and field sites while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to deliver explosives, materials and equipment to designated locations.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete all required Department of Transportation (DOT) and company documentation accurately.
• Follow all safety, environmental and hazardous‑materials regulations.
• Coordinate closely with field and blasting teams to ensure timely and safe deliveries.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Experience transporting hazardous materials preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• CDL Class B certification.
