About the role

Join Multilingual Interpreters and Translators (MLT), part of the Lingtopia Group, as a remote Russian‑English Medical Interpreter. You will facilitate real‑time communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and confidential exchange of medical information.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation between Spanish and English (as described) during healthcare interactions such as consultations, appointments, and assessments.
• Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and consent information accurately.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Handle multiple interpretation sessions efficiently via phone and video platforms.
• Complete required documentation and keep accurate session records.
• Participate in training, quality assurance, and continuous professional development activities.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Russian.
• C1+ proficiency in English.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail for real‑time interpretation.
• Professional, respectful, patient‑focused communication style.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Comfortable using computers, headsets, video‑conferencing platforms, and remote interpretation software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; interpreter training or certification is a plus.
