About the role

This full‑time RN Charge Nurse position on a medical‑surgical unit focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care while coordinating daily workflow. The role serves as a key liaison between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring safety, satisfaction, and optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, and provide safe, effective care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Prioritize patient needs, coordinate daily patient flow, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and act as an educational resource on health‑related issues.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support organizational goals, and engage in shared governance.
• Maintain professional licensure, pursue ongoing training, and seek professional growth opportunities.
• Mentor and support the development of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of leadership experience in a Med‑Surg setting (highly preferred).
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and commitment to professional development.
