RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

The organization seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care on an acute care medical telemetry unit during the night shift. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence‑based care for diverse patient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence‑based practice.
• Deliver culturally sensitive, relationship‑based care tailored to patient needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate care delivery, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary partners.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and promote evidence‑based practices.
• Mentor and precept new staff and nursing students, fostering a professional work environment.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Valid RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and current BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to operate technology effectively, manage time efficiently, and remain calm in emergencies.
• Proficiency in English with excellent critical‑thinking and analytical skills.
