RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in this acute‑care medical telemetry position provides high‑quality, individualized patient care during the night shift. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the RN ensures patient safety, promotes evidence‑based practices, and supports a collaborative clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation following clinical standards.
• Deliver patient‑centered care to diverse populations, respecting cultural differences.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and setting care goals.
• Coordinate safe care delivery, maintain thorough documentation, and foster teamwork.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and professional development; serve as a mentor or preceptor.
• Support resource planning, protocol development, and adherence to safety standards and policies.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi‑state).
• Minimum of 2 years direct patient‑care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced environments and respond calmly to emergencies.
