Revenue Recovery Specialist

About the role

The Revenue Recovery Specialist supports U.S. healthcare providers by identifying and recapturing underpayments, denied claims, and missed charges. Working remotely from the Republic of Georgia, you will align your schedule with the New York time zone to ensure timely communication with payers and clients. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of healthcare organizations so they can focus on patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze provider accounts to detect underpayments, denials, and missed charges.
• Prepare and submit appeals, claim corrections, and follow‑up communications with payers and clearinghouses.
• Reconcile payments, post adjustments, and maintain accurate account records.
• Communicate with payer representatives and, when needed, with patients to clarify balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Track recovery metrics, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to reduce future revenue leakage.
• Document all actions in CRM, billing systems, and Excel, ensuring a clear audit trail.

Required profile

• Prior experience in revenue recovery, claims follow‑up, denials management, or collections (healthcare experience is a strong plus).
• Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Problem‑solving attitude and persistence to drive complex recoveries to resolution.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Adaptable to changing payer rules and client priorities.
