Registered Nurse - Medsurg - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Med‑Surg Registered Nurse to join our multi‑campus care team on the night shift. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver evidence‑based nursing care, build strong patient relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized, evidence‑based nursing care across the full nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Drive optimal clinical outcomes by applying current best practices.
• Foster a safe, respectful team environment and support staff engagement.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
• Lead the application of evidence‑based practices and support continuous improvement through data and research.
• Plan proactively across the patient‑care continuum, shaping protocols to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (single or multi‑state) with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years recent Med‑Surg experience and proficiency with computer data entry.
• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical abilities; calm under pressure.
• Excellent critical‑thinking, time‑management, and evidence‑based decision‑making skills.
