Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full-Time - Days

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical‑surgical team across multiple campuses. The RN will provide personalized, evidence‑based care during day shifts, supporting patients throughout their hospital journey.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full nursing process from initial assessment through evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Establish trusting relationships with patients and families, honoring their values and care goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and contribute to quality‑improvement projects.
• Apply evidence‑based practices, research findings, and patient‑safety initiatives in daily care.
• Plan and coordinate care across the patient’s stay, helping develop protocols that enhance experience and reduce readmissions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state) with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 2 years recent experience in medical‑surgical nursing.
• Strong critical‑thinking, communication, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer data entry.
• Experience using Epic electronic health record system.
• Familiarity with 3M clinical documentation tools.
