About the role

This full‑time, day‑shift position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) working on a medical‑surgical unit. The RN will join a multidisciplinary patient‑care team, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered nursing care while acting as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions, updating care plans as needed.
• Provide safe, effective nursing care in line with hospital policies and document all interventions thoroughly.
• Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, offering education, and ensuring a patient‑focused experience.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certification, and development.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, promoting shared‑governance principles.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and critical‑thinking abilities.
