Registered Nurse – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will join an interdisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a cardiac telemetry unit during the night shift. This full‑time position focuses on acute care, ensuring safe, evidence‑based treatment while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide personalized care through effective communication.
• Coordinate and document safe clinical care, fostering teamwork and an inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development.
• Develop protocols, support resource management, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and certifications.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years of direct patient care experience, preferably in acute care or cardiac telemetry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical‑thinking, and time‑management abilities.
