QA Engineer – Mobile & API Testing

About the role

As a QA Engineer for the Moto loan product, you will own quality across mobile apps, backend APIs, and customer‑facing workflows. You will work closely with product managers and developers to ensure a reliable, compliant experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Perform manual testing of new features, product changes, and customer‑facing workflows, then analyze results and provide clear recommendations.
• Build and keep up‑to‑date test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Run regression testing across releases and product updates.
• Contribute to test planning, QA strategy, and continuous improvement of quality standards.
• Identify, communicate, and track defects, risks, and technical issues to developers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Hands‑on experience testing mobile applications and APIs.
• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Xcode (or equivalents), and traffic analysis tools (Proxyman, Charles, Fiddler).
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and query writing.
• Experience with test management systems like TestOps or TestRail.
• Clear, concise written communication in English.
