Program Manager IV – AWS Connect, Telephony

About the role

The Program Manager IV leads a strategic, enterprise‑wide transformation as Centene migrates its contact‑center and telephony platforms from Avaya to AWS Connect. This remote, highly visible position partners with senior business and technology leaders to drive large‑scale technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional projects for implementation, migration, and process improvement, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Create comprehensive timelines, dashboards, and executive‑level updates to track program status.
• Coordinate project managers and business analysts across operations, finance, and benefit teams.
• Prepare and present documents for Program Steering Committees and executive leadership.
• Manage risk, budget, dependencies, and issue escalation, serving as the first escalation point for project challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 8+ years of program or project management experience.
• Proven track record leading complex IT projects in a high‑visibility, enterprise environment.
• Experience supervising cross‑functional teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Healthcare or managed‑care experience is a plus.

Required skills

• AWS Connect (Amazon Connect) implementation, migration, or support.
• Telephony platforms and contact‑center technologies.
• Microsoft Office suite and project‑management tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification (preferred).
