Linux Engineer – Internal IT Infrastructure

About the role

ASBIS is expanding its internal IT department and seeks a Linux Engineer to design and build a transparent, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for three key internal projects: a Global ERP platform, a Local ERP (Odoo) solution, and a portfolio of ~80 Nuxt.js/PHP websites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers hosted in Proxmox VE clusters across three datacenter locations.
• Troubleshoot incidents such as service failures, disk capacity issues, and network connectivity problems.
• Configure and maintain Nginx and HAProxy, including SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Automate routine operational tasks using Bash and Python.
• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance windows, and create/maintain runbooks.
• Manage backup processes, perform recovery testing, and document procedures.

Required profile

• Linux administration skills at LPIC‑1 or CompTIA Linux+ level.
• Strong command‑line expertise with Bash, pipes, redirection, grep, sed, and awk.
• Experience managing users, groups, permissions, sudo, and SSH.
• Solid knowledge of systemd, services, processes, and log analysis (journalctl).
• Understanding of file systems, disks, partitions, LVM, and mount points.
• Structured troubleshooting approach with root‑cause analysis.
