Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

About the role

Exadel is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep .NET expertise to drive the design, development, and delivery of cloud‑native solutions for a major professional services client. You will shape architecture, mentor a team, and ensure high‑quality code across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design systems, develop .NET and ASP.NET Core services, and create database components.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide technical support.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce best practices.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team.
• Communicate clear instructions, manage day‑to‑day operations, and liaise regularly with the client.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering background with proven technical leadership.
• Strong competency in .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficiency with MongoDB and/or Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (Service Bus, Blob, Redis, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug‑tracking systems and pragmatic process management.
• Excellent organizational skills, self‑management, and ability to meet deadlines.
