Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to shape our cloud strategy, drive migration initiatives, and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our AWS environments. You will lead automation efforts, mentor engineers, and act as the technical voice for DevOps across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive CI/CD strategy across applications, championing automation‑first practices.
• Lead complex cloud migration initiatives, optimizing cost, performance, and risk.
• Architect and oversee secure, scalable, highly‑available AWS environments for multiple customers.
• Set and evolve Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards and best practices.
• Provide technical escalation support for CI/CD pipelines and IaC implementations.
• Define monitoring and observability strategy, driving proactive cost and performance optimization.
• Own end‑to‑end release strategy for reliable continuous delivery.
• Mentor and grow engineers, conducting technical reviews and supporting development.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and represent DevOps in client and stakeholder discussions.

Required profile

• 7+ years configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting AWS production systems.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead role.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with core AWS services and advanced networking.
• Proven experience architecting and operating Kubernetes (EKS) at scale.
• Strong command of monitoring/observability tools and alerting design.
• Extensive experience with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation) and reusable module design.
• Track record implementing and scaling CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
• Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, secure access control).
