IT Procurement Specialist

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to support its global portfolio of social entertainment platforms. You will work remotely with a diverse team of digital nomads, handling procurement, finance, and asset management for IT and SaaS services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle, negotiate contracts and service level agreements for IT and SaaS vendors.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, 3‑way matching, and compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis, OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, and plan‑vs‑actual reporting.
• Optimize cloud costs (AWS, GCP) through FinOps practices such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and cost allocation tagging.
• Maintain IT asset lifecycle records and inventory using ITAM tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation for IT/SaaS.
• Strong financial analysis skills with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Understanding of cloud cost structures and FinOps principles.
• Knowledge of AP workflows and basic accounting principles.
• Experience tracking hardware lifecycles and managing inventory systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Query).
• Jira and Confluence.
• ERP systems.
• AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
