Infrastructure Security Engineer

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to protect and harden its globally distributed cloud and on‑premise environments. You will work remotely with a diverse team of digital nomads, designing secure architectures and ensuring the resilience of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Cloudflare Zero Trust architecture (Access, Gateway, Tunnel, One Client).
• Hardening and protection of endpoints through baseline configuration, patching and EDR/antivirus management.
• Run the vulnerability management process: identify, assess, prioritize and track remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Build and maintain security monitoring capabilities, onboarding new log and data sources into the SIEM.
• Design and enforce network segmentation (VLANs, firewall zones, micro‑segmentation) to limit lateral movement.
• Coordinate infrastructure‑focused penetration tests and drive remediation of findings.
• Lead and coordinate incident response for infrastructure security incidents.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or network security.
• Hands‑on experience with Zero Trust Network Access platforms.
• Proven ability to harden and manage endpoints (baseline configuration, patching, EDR/antivirus).
• Experience designing network segmentation and running a vulnerability management program.
• Experience building/tuning SIEM detections and onboarding new data sources.
• Experience coordinating or leading incident response for infrastructure security incidents.

• Incident response for infrastructure security events.
