Imaging Education Specialist

About the role

The Imaging Education Specialist supports Globus Medical’s Imaging, Navigation, and Robotics (INR) products across hospitals and internal labs. The role blends technical expertise with hands‑on training to ensure surgeons, OR staff, and administrators can safely and effectively use advanced radiologic equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep technical knowledge of INR products, related procedures, anatomy, and implant offerings.
• Create educational texts, workflows, and training modules for new and existing users.
• Deliver comprehensive hands‑on training through cadaver labs, bio‑skill labs, and on‑site sessions.
• Attend surgical cases to educate teams on patient preparation, radiologic procedures, and equipment operation.
• Provide ongoing INR education to internal peers and external customers before and after capital installations.
• Explain equipment operation, radiation safety measures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Foster a collaborative culture with sales, clinical, and corporate teams.

Required profile

• Current, up‑to‑date radiology certification.
• Proven experience training OR personnel on imaging equipment.
• Self‑starter with the ability to add value for customers and the organization.
• Strong collaborator capable of building relationships across sales, clinical, and corporate groups.

Required skills

• Operation of advanced radiologic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of imaging, navigation, and robotics systems.
• Radiation safety protocols and protective device usage.
• Troubleshooting of imaging hardware.
