Facility Management Electric Assistant Manager

About the role

The Electric Assistant Manager will oversee electrical construction activities for Hyundai Motor Group's Metaplant America EV plant during the construction phase. This role combines site supervision, contractor management, and post‑construction maintenance planning.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical work on the Metaplant America project.
• Coordinate electrical design contractors on behalf of the owner.
• Ensure construction schedules and equipment installations meet Hyundai Motor Group standards.
• Lead technical and economic construction management to satisfy design and build requirements.
• Plan and budget maintenance of electrical facilities after construction completion.
• Oversee planning, ordering, and execution of expansions, modifications, repairs, and replacements of electrical systems.
• Prioritize objectives, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and develop scalable solutions.
• Develop architectural plans, material selections, and financial feasibility studies.
• Monitor and supervise on‑site electric construction companies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of electrical or engineering experience as a site manager or engineer.
• Experience managing a team of 10 or more as a middle manager.
• Proven experience with electrical documentation, submittals, drawings, and reports.
• In‑depth knowledge of electrical industry regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Preferred: 7 + years of electrical/engineering experience in the U.S. automotive industry, construction management, and facility maintenance; state‑approved electrical license.
