Embedded ROI Specialist

About the role

Datavant is seeking an Embedded ROI Specialist to join its remote team. You will be responsible for processing high‑volume medical record requests, ensuring accurate data entry, and supporting the secure exchange of health information.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls from patients, insurers, and attorneys to gather medical status information.
• Enter and document data across multiple platforms using dual monitors.
• Process electronic medical records through various EMR systems as directed.
• Meet performance metrics such as Charts Per Hour (CPH) and attendance.
• Report technical issues, security breaches, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a quality‑focused service environment and meet deadlines for email and information requests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of data‑entry experience.
• Experience with EMR systems; A+ certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or release‑of‑information setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Adaptability to a changing, high‑volume environment and ability to collaborate remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑based applications: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook.
• Experience using EMR systems for data entry.
• Basic technical troubleshooting (A+ certification preferred).
