CT Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

About the role

The CT Technologist performs high‑quality computed tomography imaging in a collaborative healthcare setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners independently and follow infection‑control protocols.
• Position patients, administer contrast agents, and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
• Review images for quality and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate patient care as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and support departmental workflows.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least one year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT‑R (Radiography), ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).

Required skills

• CT scanner operation.
• Proficiency with RIS and PACS documentation.
• Contrast media administration.
• Infection‑control procedures.
