Configuration Analyst

About the role

The Configuration Analyst is responsible for creating, testing, and deploying customized configurations within enterprise software applications such as CPQ, ERP, or CMDB tools. Working closely with business stakeholders, the analyst translates functional requirements into technical designs and ensures that configurations support scalable and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy tailored system configurations across CPQ, ERP, or CMDB platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs and functional workflows.
• Automate repetitive manual processes and improve configuration management to enhance scalability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for system configurations, user workflows, and version control.
• Provide second‑level support for production issues, batch cycles, and configuration errors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., B.Tech) or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience in configuration, system development, or related roles.
• Junior‑level focus on testing, documentation, and simple configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Programming/scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Apex.
• Experience with CPQ platforms and ITSM platforms.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Knowledge of database structures and web technologies.
