Claims Specialist – Remote (Georgia)

About the role

We are looking for a Claims Specialist to join Pharmbills remotely from the Republic of Georgia. In this role you will ensure that healthcare insurance claims are processed accurately, discrepancies are resolved, and compliance with U.S. regulations is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process healthcare insurance claims to verify compliance with applicable regulations.
• Investigate claim discrepancies and denials, collaborating with providers and U.S. insurance companies to resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed records of claim activities, including payments, follow‑ups and communications.
• Handle denied claims, identify root causes and support resubmission or appeal processes.
• Generate reports on claim status and trends to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with U.S.-based healthcare teams to streamline claim workflows.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns and solve problems.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Professional English communication skills (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and work according to U.S. time zones.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims, billing or insurance processes is a plus.

Required skills

• Clear written and verbal English (B2+).
