CDL Class B Driver

About the role

Orica is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to support its mining, quarrying and oil & gas operations. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting explosives, related materials and equipment to customer and field sites while adhering to strict safety, environmental and hazardous‑materials regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport explosives, related materials and equipment to designated locations.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete all required Department of Transportation (DOT) and company documentation.
• Follow all safety, environmental and hazardous‑materials regulations.
• Collaborate closely with field and blasting teams to ensure coordinated operations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably with hazardous‑materials transport.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and documentation requirements.
• Commitment to safety, environmental compliance and meticulous inspection procedures.
