About the role
Orica is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to transport explosives and related materials for mining, quarrying, and oil & gas operations. The role involves strict adherence to DOT, HazMat and company safety standards while ensuring timely deliveries to customer sites.
Key responsibilities
- Transport explosives, blasting agents and related materials to designated sites.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, load documentation and compliance records.
- Coordinate with site and blasting teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, HazMat and company safety regulations.
Required profile
- Valid CDL Class B driver’s license.
- Experience handling hazardous materials, preferably explosives.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and HazMat regulations.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed safety procedures.
