CDL Class B Driver

About the role

Orica is seeking a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to transport explosives and related materials for its mining, quarrying and oil & gas operations. The driver will ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA and company safety standards while delivering to customer and field sites.

Key responsibilities

• Transport explosives and related materials to designated customer and field locations.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery, load and compliance documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials using approved procedures.
• Coordinate closely with site and blasting teams to ensure safe operations.
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA and internal safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Strong safety orientation and knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work in mining, quarrying or oil & gas environments.
• Attention to detail for documentation and inspection tasks.
• Physical capability to assist with loading and unloading.
