CDL Class B Driver

About the role

Orica is looking for a safety‑focused CDL Class B Driver to support its mining, quarrying and oil & gas operations. The driver will be responsible for transporting explosives and related materials to customer sites while adhering to all DOT, hazmat and company regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport explosives and related materials to customer sites in compliance with DOT, hazmat, and company regulations.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and ensure equipment is safely loaded and unloaded.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, compliance documentation, and inspection logs.
• Coordinate with field and blasting teams to support on‑time deliveries in remote mining, quarrying, and oil & gas operations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record.
• Strong safety focus and knowledge of DOT and hazardous material regulations.
• Ability to work independently in remote locations and handle physical loading/unloading tasks.
