Azure Systems Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Systems Architect to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role is fully remote within Georgia, allowing you to work from any location while collaborating with teams in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end Azure solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, supporting rollbacks, blue/green, and canary deployments.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date architecture documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies using Azure native tools.
• Define capacity planning, auto‑scaling, backup, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Work with Solutions Architects and Application Teams to design integrations and guarantee platform readiness.
• Assist Project and Delivery Managers with production readiness and go‑live planning.
• Drive cloud cost optimization across Azure environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure services (App Services, AKS, SQL, Storage, Networking).
• Hands‑on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and advanced deployment strategies.
• Deep knowledge of Azure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Solid grasp of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
