Senior Operations Manager

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager leads end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics, ensuring the company’s supply‑chain network remains flexible, resilient, and cost‑effective. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees multiple large‑scale operations and drives continuous improvement across all product development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distribution‑center business plans, including P&L, budgeting, and customer requirements.
• Define production and quality‑control standards, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Design comprehensive process plans covering personnel, material, safety, facility, equipment, and customer‑specific needs.
• Coordinate processing activities with internal functions and external suppliers to optimize resource utilization.
• Review production and operational reports, resolve maintenance issues, and prevent operational delays.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reporting.
• Determine organizational responsibilities and ensure staff alignment with business objectives.
• Supervise managers of Special Projects, Shipping & Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory & Auditing, and Customer Service.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale logistics or warehouse operations.
• Strong ability to develop business plans, budgets, and cost‑control strategies.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Leadership skills to manage multiple subordinate managers and drive performance.
• Commitment to meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
