Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of models that determine user value, acquisition costs, and fraud detection across its reward‑powered app discovery platform. The role will own the full modelling lifecycle, from problem definition to live monitoring, and will work closely with engineers to integrate solutions into production.

Key responsibilities

• Predict user and cohort value from early signals and maintain forecast accuracy as the product evolves.
• Design and implement bidding and pricing models that set acquisition spend while respecting margin limits.
• Develop segmentation and scoring systems to target users, partners, and inventory based on delivered value.
• Improve fraud‑detection models, balancing abuse prevention with user experience.
• Define evaluation metrics, conduct back‑testing, and monitor model performance post‑deployment.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to build pipelines, serve models, and integrate decisions into the business workflow.

Required profile

• Senior‑level data science experience with end‑to‑end model ownership.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into predictive models and decision frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working in a fast‑moving ad‑tech environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills to partner with engineers and product stakeholders.
