Senior Bridge Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer (Lot 1) to lead construction supervision on a major roads, tunnels and bridges infrastructure project. The position supports the Senior Resident Engineer and will be active from the early EOI stage through project award and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all bridge‑related construction activities and associated structures.
• Review and approve contractor method statements, working drawings and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and contractual requirements.
• Support the Senior Resident Engineer in structural supervision and quality assurance.
• Monitor progress, safety and quality of bridge works on site.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical input and resolve structural engineering issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Professional civil engineering qualification (PE, CEng, EUR‑ING or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of overall civil engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in bridge construction projects.
• Proven track record reviewing contractor submissions and supervising bridge works.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering and construction supervision practices.
