Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own and evolve the data platform that powers its commercial operations. You will build reliable pipelines, model data for decision‑making, and directly influence how the company spends, rewards, and protects its ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery, transforming raw events, attribution data, and advertiser feeds into trusted tables.
• Answer commercial questions by analysing data, setting thresholds, and providing actionable recommendations to non‑technical teams.
• Take ownership of existing pipelines, document their behavior, and ensure continuous production reliability.
• Implement testing, assertions, and alerting to guarantee data quality and early detection of anomalies.
• Optimize warehouse costs, query performance, and reduce duplication across the data stack.

Required profile

• Approximately three years of experience building and operating data pipelines in a fast‑moving environment.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with data scientists, backend engineers, and product teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into concrete data solutions.
