Sanitation Worker

About the role

Responsible for unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing items for storage or shipment. The role also supports sanitation, inventory control, and equipment maintenance within the distribution center.

Key responsibilities

• Unload trucks, break down pallets, and place products onto warehouse racks or pick slots.
• Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of grocery and produce items, ensuring proper placement.
• Assist with sanitation, cleaning warehouse areas, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, report damages, and verify product accuracy.
• Participate in product rotation, move items to dock areas, and support order selection and packing.
• Lift products weighing 30‑75 lbs while following safety protocols.
• Follow safety policies, work in multi‑temperature environments, and perform additional assigned tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and follow instructions in a fast‑paced setting.
• Effective communication in English with basic math and reading skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Capability to work safely in different temperature zones and handle physical demands.
