About the role
The Reset Merchandiser is responsible for completing weekly plan‑ogram resets in grocery store aisles, ensuring products are positioned according to updated schematics and the store remains organized for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Read and understand plan‑ograms and related documentation.
- Collect plan‑ograms, new item tags, and new products, then prepare the work area.
- Break down sections orderly to keep aisles accessible for shoppers.
- Re‑position shelving and place products according to the updated schematic.
- Clean up the work area after each reset.
- Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and supervisors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Smartphone with internet/data access and willingness to install a required app.
- Personal tape measure and safety gloves.
- Physical ability to stand for several hours, lift/push/pull 50‑70 lb regularly, and lift 30 lb overhead.
- Capability to bend, kneel, squat, reach in all directions, and tolerate temperatures from 0‑90 °F.
