About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Orthopedic Surgical, providing high-quality, patient‑centered care in a collaborative environment. This full‑time night‑shift position focuses on delivering safe and effective care to surgical patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence‑based practices.
• Deliver relationship‑based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods such as bedside reports and education.
• Ensure safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence‑based practice activities.
• Mentor and precept other staff and students, fostering a healthy work environment.
• Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Respond decisively to emergencies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal, collaboration, time‑management, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to use technology effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
