Registered Nurse – Acute Care Orthopedic Surgery (Part‑Time Night Shift)

About the role

The role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in acute care orthopaedic surgery, working part‑time night shifts. You will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care to diverse populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized, safe patient care using evidence‑based practices and the nursing process.
• Deliver relationship‑based, patient‑centered care, ensuring effective communication with patients and families.
• Coordinate care through documentation, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient education.
• Promote safe, quality outcomes by participating in performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based initiatives.
• Support resource management, develop protocols, and adhere to organizational policies and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in direct patient care (preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi‑state) and BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with technology and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
