Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to be the last line of defense before production for our fast‑growing B2B SaaS platform serving the funeral and memorial industry. The role combines manual testing, automation architecture, and process organization across web, iOS and Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manual and regression testing of web, iOS and Android applications across multiple white‑label configurations.
• Design, build and maintain an automation framework from scratch using Playwright (or Cypress) for web and API testing.
• Conduct cross‑system testing of payment flows, order statuses and data‑synchronisation across micro‑services.
• Validate AI‑generated “vibe‑coding” changes quickly and create smoke test suites on the fly.
• Produce test plans, regression and release checklists and define “Definition of Done” with stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between developers and managers, translating expectations into testable criteria.
• Mentor the existing QA engineer and help shape the future QA strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably as the sole or lead QA on multiple products.
• Strong manual testing background with extensive experience on web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms.
• Hands‑on experience building automation frameworks and writing automated tests.
• Ability to think system‑wide and hunt cross‑component bugs.
