Project Manager – Vulnerability & Patch Management

About the role

The Project Manager – Vulnerability & Patch Management leads enterprise‑wide remediation and patching initiatives. You will coordinate planning, tracking, and deployment of security updates while minimizing operational risk and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of vulnerability and patch management programs, aligning schedules with security policies and threat landscapes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers, dependencies, and status reports.
• Coordinate routine, emergency, and out‑of‑band patch deployments across cloud, on‑premises, network, firewall, server, and platform environments.
• Partner with technical teams to resolve remediation roadblocks and monitor vulnerability intelligence feeds.
• Communicate risks, mitigation plans, and remediation status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Define, monitor, and report security, vulnerability, and patch metrics; prepare executive dashboards and audit‑ready documentation.
• Identify AI‑driven and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to change management, governance processes, and continuous improvement of patch procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise infrastructure, security, or technology initiatives.
• 2+ years managing IT security, vulnerability, or patch management programs.
• Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects across cloud‑native, on‑premises, network, firewall, server, and platform technologies.
• Working familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
