Project Manager

About the role

Buckland is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives across its global trade services. You will drive project schedules, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage detailed project schedules, securing stakeholder buy‑in on milestones.
• Engage project participants and sponsors to maintain active involvement and alignment with SDLC phases.
• Communicate clearly and continuously, championing quality, innovation, and teamwork.
• Coordinate resources, third‑party contractors, and cross‑functional teams to meet objectives.
• Identify and resolve project roadblocks, manage dependencies, and develop contingency plans.
• Define ownership and accountability for tasks, ensuring adequate tools and personnel.
• Oversee end‑to‑end processes including planning, documentation, SOP creation, training, and post‑implementation optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams on Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire a positive work environment and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience guiding projects through all SDLC stages.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
