Occupational Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

Join Şişecam as an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist and help maintain a safe workplace for employees across our global operations. You will play a key part in preventing accidents, ensuring compliance with OHS legislation, and supporting a culture of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain workplace security and employee safety.
• Prevent occupational accidents and reduce labor loss.
• Ensure compliance with all OHS laws and regulations.
• Deliver training to support the OHS Management System at assigned sites.
• Report safety performance to Şişecam headquarters.
• Perform additional duties as defined in the OHS Specialist job description.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid OHS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proficiency in Georgian and English; Turkish is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
