Middle Software Engineer (Gameplay)

About the role

Playrix is looking for a Middle Software Engineer focused on gameplay to join its mobile games team. You will work at the intersection of UI, game logic and engineering, helping to build and improve features for millions of daily players.

Key responsibilities

• Develop gameplay logic and new features using C++.
• Design and implement in‑game UI windows, work with UI kits and integrate visual assets.
• Leverage AI‑driven tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) for task decomposition, code generation, testing and delivery.
• Break down, estimate and plan tasks, and actively participate in feature discussions.
• Optimize performance and automate routine workflows.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience on commercial game projects using C++ and/or Unity.
• Hands‑on experience building complex in‑game interfaces (windows, scrollbars, effects).
• Proactive attitude with a track record of proposing improvements.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development and measurable impact is a plus.
